Food Preparations in White House Kitchen

This photograph of White House Executive Chef Henry Haller and White House Assistant Executive Chef Hans Raffert was taken in April 1970 by Joseph J. Scherschel during the administration of Richard M. Nixon. Here, the chefs cut beef Wellington into pieces and transfer them to silver platters. The White House Kitchen is located on the Ground Floor of the Executive Mansion.
